Fundraising opportunities
There are several ways of partnering with America in Action.
Organize a drive
Organize a shoe and clothing drive within your organization and let us know the dates. Once you have collected used shoes, clothing and other accepted items in plastic bags, we send a truck to pick up everything. We pay for every pound collected.
Host a bin
Host a large bin or a smaller shoe collection bin long term. Bins are decorated with your artwork and advertise your organization's mission. America in Action provides the bin free of charge and maintains its look and integrity. If you decide you no longer want to host it, we remove it.
Shoe box program
We provide boxes to collect worn but wearable shoes. When your boxes hold more than 60 lbs we arrange pick-up at no cost, and once received we send you a check for the shoes collected.
